Fin da bambino veniva soprannominato gelataio vestito di bianco, ma questo non aveva nulla a che vedere con la professione che lo consacrerà Gelato World Champion.\n\u003Cbr>Dopo aver studiato all'istituto alberghiero si trasferisce in Francia e soprattutto in Germania dove apre la prima gelateria, ispirato dal cognato.
